Today we watched the potatoes being harvested. What a huge machine! I barked at it but it did not hear me.

The Best Pet Sitter

On Sat. we had a big adventure. Our people went on a day trip and did not take us. We had a pet sitter come and we went on a field trip with her. It was a blast meeting new people. We went to a town called Ware. We were a little worried but it was so much fun we forgot about that. We were tired after this day and glad to be home. We told our people all about it when they got home. Here I am with Hadley and the best pet sitter in the valley named Annette!!!

My New Friends

These people were out in the yard. I was barking at them so I got taken out to meet them. They are kind of quiet (not like me) but I like them. Especially since I got a pupperoni to say hi to them. They didn't try to pat me like most other people do.

Fall Decoration

I want to be one of the Fall decorations. See me sitting still in the front yard where I'm not allowed go go without my leash. I got a new orange collar to match the wheelbarrow. How long do you think this sit/stay lasted?

Fighting over the Chicken

This is my brother's favorite toy. He drags it out whenever we have company. Here I am trying to get it away from him. He lets me have it after a while. I think it's a duck but everyone calls it the chicken.

The mornings are cooler and wet so I have a new hoodie to wear on the walk. At first I liked it. Later I tried to take it off myself. Then I gave up. Do you really think I need this?

Wierd Shot

My feet are turning brown like my spots. It's hard to get a photo of this. At first it looked like I got dirty feet again. Now it looks like I always have dirty feet. LOL

I love to run... Here I am trying to catch the birds on the beach. I need to watch out for the waves too. I had a LOT of fun.

Road Trip

We went away for the weekend. I really had a lot of fun. Here I am being Queen of the beach. I love chasing the birds. I got covered with sand and salt but it was worth it.

8 months old

I took a special trip to get weighed. I am now 5.3 pounds. I'm all muscle and no fat. I could run all day.

The River is High for July.

We got a LOT of rain. I better be carefull.

Sunflower Crop

The storm also blew down some of the new sunflower crop. At least it was low enough for me to check out the flower at close range. I think it's pretty.

Power Outage

We had a bad storm and the power went out. I don't seem to mind the thunder and lightning but what's up with the candles???

We had the best time at the Taste of Amherst. I met lots and lots of people. Everyone wanted a turn patting me. There were a lot of interesting things to sniff. I wish I could have eaten there but I already had my dinner.

This flu over the house. We barked at it. The people in it were talking to us. I want a ride in it. Up Up and away.

My First Bath in the Sink

This week I was acting too much like a dog they say. I rolled in something that smelled bad and my white feet were all black. This is what happened. I got a shampoo and dried off and the blow dryer came out. Now I'm clean but the bath made me tired. Here is what I look like soaking wet.

On Duty

Here I am on duty at the window. One of us sounds an alarm if we see something outside worth checking out.

Feeling a lot better.

I'm really feeling a lot better. I'm getting even more spoiled if such a thing is possible. We are laying low for a few days. I'm not supposed to jump around and play but it's difficult for me to stay still.

Huggy's bad day.

Here I am clearly under the weather. Sick as a dog as they say. Yesterday was the day I had my surgery so I don't have any puppies. The vet said I was just about to go into heat (whatever that is ) and I had the operation just in time. I also had a few baby teeth out so my mouth is sore too. Everyone was very worried. I slept all afternoon, evening, and night. Today I ate breakfast and it was good. I'm a lot better and everyone is taking good care of me. I can't go on the dog walks until I heal.

Summer Hairdo

I am exactly 6 months old. We had our hair done at the groomer. Here we are posing for the camera.

I'm not too sure I like this baby. I want to kiss her but no one lets me. She makes a lot of noises and then I get ignored.

Meeting a baby

This weekend I got upstaged by a baby. I got to meet one and suddenly I was not the center of attention anymore. Everyone wants to play with the baby instead of me. Here I am saying Hi to Whitney.

It's early in the grilling season but already I can tell I'm going to like it.

I'm more afraid of these when they fly over. They won't eat me or carry me off however.

My Yard

This is my yard. It is fenced in to keep me safe. I'm not allowed to go out alone however because there are a lot of big birds in my neighborhood. My people are afraid I might get carried off by a Hawk or a Falcon.

Mini Vet Visit

Yesterday I took a special trip to the vet to get weighed on the same scale. It looks like now I weigh 4.5 pounds. That's nearly double what I weighed when I came to my new home. I am in very good condition from all the walks with my Dad and Hadley and Holly. I can run faster than them now. My favorite walk is in Amherst every morning even though for that one I have to be on my leash. There are lots of interesting thing to smell.

WOW

It was so good I even sat up and begged to get a chance to have some. It was really cold but good.

Happy Day

Today the ice cream shop opened at the farmstand. We all had to be on our best behavior because there were a lot of new people to meet. Hadley & Holly are showing me how to eat a cone. It was my first one.

Cold Mornings

Now I'm big enough to go on all the walks. The mornings that are cold I have to get a sweater put on me which I don't like but after we get outside I'm happy to be warm.
